I am so excited to finally have this tattoo. I’ve wanted a semicolon tattoo for years to represent strength and survival, but have struggled with a way to present it that didn’t feel blatantly “Look at my mental illness!” After thinking about how I use lavender on my pulse points to quell my anxieties, @alitabuck created some beautiful initial sketches of lavender growing through the semicolon.
